Easy to install Accessories and consumables

Taken out of the packaging, run along the top edge of the fence, screw into the antenna connector, screw the bracket to the fence. Done in less than 5 minutes. The remote works great from my porch a morning away.

The antenna works as it should on the device.

The antenna on the Mighty Mule's gate opener had near zero range, I had to stand by the remote to activate it. I installed this antenna and now the remote control has a range of over 30 meters, even more on my cars with the built in remote control.

No range improvement

I bought this "upgrade" to increase the range of the remote control. Unfortunately this is a waste of money. I attached it to a post with a clean, unobstructed passage either side of the gate. It can't increase the remote control range at all compared to the original tiny Mighty Mule antenna.

4.5 stars, must come with an adapter for normal coaxial cable (LiftMaster LA400)

Works great, has greatly improved the range of my LiftMaster LA400 gate. My only complaint is that there was no adapter in the box for a full size coax - does the adapter that comes with it convert it to a screw cap jack? - Not quite sure how that would be useful.

This antenna really works!

This antenna works great on my mighty 572w mule gate opener. The factory antenna on my opener was awful and very frustrating because sometimes I had to get out of the car and walk straight towards it. Some reviews of this antenna say it doesn't work...not in my case. Sometimes my gates open at 100 feet now!

Extended Range on Radio Antennas

My original Mighty Mule gate opener antenna typically required you to be within 35 feet of the antenna to work. Some days he wasn't working at 15 feet. I live on a farm so the house is 440 feet from the gate. With this antenna and cable I was able to mount it above the control box and on the side. The remote can now open the gate from inside the house which is 440 feet from the antenna and gate. This is a significant improvement in range.
