These are small but very fun toys. Since they are very long, you can also do a lot more than with short ones of the same size. They tangle more easily on young hands as they are very long, but in this case they should be replaced. Just note that they come with slightly sticky rings which can cause confusion when opening the package. At first glance they look like tubes. Push out one end and tug, and they spring loose easily.

We used four dozen of these to decorate the glow in the dark dance. The blue ones didn't really glow under blacklight, but the others looked great. We ended up giving them to little kids as party favors and they loved them as toys too. They are small in girth, but quite long. They come with a spool glued into a tube - most of them came off easily from a spring but two (of 48) broke. In fact, we had her walk through a stack of books.

I was looking for something similar to tight underwear to replace the tight underwear my boys had lost and came across these. They are funny and so far have held up to the abuse my 3 and 6 year olds have endured. They're great for car rides and apparently for tying to balloons, although I wouldn't recommend the latter. On the advice of another mom I really only needed a small one for my 1 year old son to keep him entertained in flight but I couldn't find a small one that sold separately. This happened when I had several older but young children in my company and since I had so many of them I gave them to each child. They sure are a great party decoration!
