I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

The watch is for sports. To do this, they have all of the above. But, unfortunately, there is something that negates all the advantages. The main disadvantage of this watch is the built-in heart rate monitor. This is the bottom. When running slowly for two hours, it shows that the pulse is 180 and asks to run more slowly. Tightened the strap to the pain. Then they lasted an hour showing a heart rate of 130, and then again 160, and then 170. On the tempo, during a warm-up of 2 km, they showed…

    Pros
    • Quality, materials and assembly. Ability to customize the display of the desired parameters in the training mode. The presence of a sound signal. Possibility to select the battery mode in training mode. Sufficiently capacious battery. Possibility to choose Dark or Light theme in training mode. The ability to choose a constant screen backlight in training mode. The presence of the SuuntoPlus function that helps to automatically track various parameters and display them on the screen at the end of each lap. Navigation mode - mini navigator on the watch. "Return to starting point" mode in training mode.
    Cons
    • Small screen, 0.8 inches. Absolutely inadequate heart rate monitor. Only 9 built-in, very peculiar, dials.

So-so quality, price doesn't match quality.

Total: as in the old joke - theoretically we have an expensive high-tech sports device, practically - a cuckoo clock built into a gypsy fortune teller who moonlights as a programmer in public services.

    Pros
    • They show the time and some (someone's) pulse. You can create a template for the desired workout from your phone and download it to your watch (if, of course, they are connected to the phone). True, the "training template" sounds very proud - in fact, you can choose the parameters displayed on the screen .
    Cons
    • 1) Monstrous application. They wrote about it. Really terrible. 2) The beginning of any training = lack of information about the pulse. Somewhere in the official recommendation I found something like "turn on the training mode before the start of the training itself." It's strange, then why do I need a "sports" watch that does not know how to start at the right time? 3) There is no support/representation of this brand in 2022. Well, or rather, there is a single chat on the site with a wait in my case of 20 minutes and that's it. No phone, not even official mail. No physical address. In my case, I was offered to send the watch myself to the only (!) service center in the country. Hello to those who are dissatisfied with Garmin. 4) They also wrote about a small, dim, uninformative screen (it does not correspond to advertising photos), about a battery that dies even in the "clock" mode without gps, notifications and other things - too. Notifications, by the way, work even more poorly than on fitness bracelets for 1,500 of the famous Chinese brand: either none or all, including not only important calls, but also notifications from all mails, including corporate mail with a notification frequency of 2-3 per minute . 5) "Adaptive training", which is in all releases of this watch - what is it? This option contains very valuable tips: you work out today, and tomorrow you rest, and then work out again, you understand . Perhaps this function is so miserable because it is based on measuring the level of physical fitness, stress and sleep quality? Probably, because the Indians predicted rain more accurately than this device, the physical condition of its owner. 6) The infographics of the watch itself is a hell of logic, it is not possible to describe everything with censorship words. 7) Trying to use gps (tested on enduro training) causes pain and a desire to beat the developer with a stick.

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

In general, the impressions are positive, despite the jambs. I was very upset because of the failure of the date, I even wanted to take it. But the problem did not arise after turning off the zhps in the modes that are used indoors, so I left them. I'm waiting for the season to test in the mountains and run crosses. I bought it on lamod for 18.7k on black friday. Before that, I went to offline stores to try on and see. So - I do not advise Alpindustria in Aviapark for selection, consultations.

    Pros
    • I bought a watch for daily wear, training (running, functional, tennis) and outdoor, hiking. There is nothing to compare with, I did not have a gps-watch before. I chose the fifth model because of its small size and optimal price. Smart features are not needed. I wear three weeks in urban mode + training. Pros: Autonomy (a week with three hourly workouts without gps, notifications are disabled, heart rate only during training), gps accuracy, design, many types of training. Contrast screen in daylight and indoors. I did not compare the pulse with the chest sensor, but at first glance it seems adequate. I'll buy a sensor later and compare. Outdoors with gps, steps are counted the same way as a pedometer on an iPhone, the difference is small. The track writes well, corresponds to the route, the distance is adequate. It records a dream - a trifle, but it's nice, you can clarify how much time you personally need to get enough sleep. Looks good, I wear it every day.
    Cons
    • The two most important points. 1. On the treadmill, the pedometer is lying quite somehow fiercely. On the track 3km, the clock counts 5km. And most importantly - it can not be corrected later in the clock. When synced, they transfer the same crooked data to suunto app and to Strava. In the Suunto app, you can at least edit the mileage, but not in Strava, and incorrect data also remains in the log on the watch. Accordingly, the analytics of this race is as oblique as possible, I even had a negative speed! 2. The date flew twice. Here, in general, a mega fail - it's a watch, hello! I wake up, look at the clock, it shows a plus hour with the phone. Then I looked at the date, they show December 1st. Actually, it was December 4th. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The explanation for this jamb, perhaps, is this - on the eve of the failure there was a training session in the gym (according to the Treadmill program) before which the clock was looking for gps, of course, they did not find it. Since this was one of the first workouts with the watch, I have not yet figured out how to turn off the search for satellites in advance. I suspect that the watch tried to ate the date based on the satellite data, did not receive data, and set a random date. Why does the track mode default to zhps? Mystery. All preset modes must be configured and edited by hand for yourself, as the default dials are uninformative or too overloaded with data. There is no notification about leaving the heart rate zone. It would be useful, when running, you have to constantly look at the clock. The application is crooked, usability is so-so, you have to get used to it. From time to time, when importing to Strava, data disappears, for example, several minutes of heart rate recording. Just a gap in the graph and that's it.

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

According to reviews, I read that someone lacks the brightness of the display. At first, it seemed that way, too, but in the process of using it, you realize that this is enough. Someone wrote that the text does not fit into the display, but you can scroll down a step and that line with the readings appears in full. And by the way, during training or navigation, you can set a dark or light theme.

    Pros
    • Autonomy, quality of materials, manual Finnish assembly! Accuracy of readings, maximum ease of use, no variegated colors like light green, pink, bright red, etc. Not sensory and for me this is a virtue.
    Cons
    • I can't name yet. Because I've owned it for less than a month.

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

In general, I am very pleased with the watch (except for one moment in shortcomings). They sit well on the hand, not a huge puck, but a small size. The backlight is good, you can see everything during the training. Convenient placement of indicators on the display while running (you set the necessary ones yourself). The optical heart rate sensor is generally not bad. The battery lasts exactly as advertised, which is great. Very accurate GPS data

    Pros
    • For me personally, the size of the watch. GPS. Tracking modes for training, sleep, heart rate.
    Cons
    • Doesn't want to show VO2max level. I entered all the data, I work with a heart rate monitor. All indicators are displayed in the report except for the main VO2max

    I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

As a watch for sports, we can safely recommend it, it's worth the money. P. S. In the photo, the watch after 6 months of active use.

    Pros
    • Qualitatively assembled, they look stylish on the hand with any clothes, although this is probably a matter of taste. The watch itself and its sports functionality works flawlessly and clearly. Everything that needs to be shown is considered adequately, synchronization with Strava, no problem. The battery charge is enough for a week with 4-5 sports activities (from 1-2 hours) and constant wear in everyday life. In general, at a price of up to 20t. great choice. Yes, they are not as sophisticated in terms of the functionality of the proprietary application and the external interface of the watch itself as Garmin, but they cope with their task with a bang!
    Cons
    • The glass is subject to the rapid appearance of small scratches, but this can be easily fixed by gluing a protective glass bought, for example, on Ali for 150. (2 pcs.) By the way, the glasses are of excellent quality and they do not scratch =) The main drawback is the lack of normal support for the manufacturer in the 2022.

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

Its impossible to use it, dont waste your money.

Firmware is not ated over the air through the phone. Only through strings and only through the desktop application. With each firmware, more tracking partner services are added and battery life is getting shorter. Everyone has already said everything about the wild interfaces in the watch and in the application. These are not interfaces, but a mockery of logic and elementary principles of usability. A product with the style of "a waiter in an expensive restaurant spitting on a client's plate"…

    Pros
    • Custom dial for 24 hours
    Cons
    • Price, interface, application.

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

The quality is at zero, very sting of the money spent.

I bought this model in order to monitor the pulse during a run at an amateur level and control recovery and stress, as a result, information about sleep at a minimum is only an integral indicator without details, which sometimes simply does not appear (although heart rate monitoring is enabled), tracking stress and recovery is simple incomprehensible numbers on the phone that can jump during the day, those saved information on them that are not transmitted to the application are 0, the wrist…

    Pros
    • Long battery life, accurate GPS, adaptive training plan
    Cons
    • Small screen, Low brightness, absolutely raw software, Suunto software looks like a homemade craft, the inscriptions and information in it are not even adapted to the screen (see the picture)

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

In principle, for their money, watch "FIRE". The regular application, of course, is not as rich in analytical training data as, say, Strava, but not as "wretched" as many write here, most of the data will be enough. I would add the number and variety of dials to the regular application, for example, like Garmin. Has pros: Stylish design (IMHO), autonomy sufficient for any type of training, functionality (I have enough functions), GPS accuracy, price-quality: I took it for 18500 for a promotion,

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

The watch was replaced by Samsung Active Watch 2, which three years later lost weight and died. Before that, there were heart rate monitors from Sigma, bracelets from Xiaomi. Suunto 5 is a great sports watch with a focus on sports. For a week I managed to try out during training - an exercise bike, a pool, crossfit. Ideally, as I understand it, use it together with a chest heart rate monitor, but even without it they work great, showing the pulse zones, but sometimes they fail. The pool mode is

    Pros
    • Gorgeous in quality, long battery life, a lot of sports settings, they sit comfortably, show a Telegram notification.
    Cons
    • Before the firmware ate, they did not want to synchronize with the phone and there were few dials.

If you want to actively use the pulse readings, I do not recommend SUUNTO watches, I also use TOTOM with a first-generation pulse sensor on my arm, the pulse is always accurate and does not go astray. Also used GARMIN, also everything is in order. Has pros: The quality of the case, the accuracy of GPS, the duration of work. They sit well, wear without removing. Has cons: the heart rate sensor is not displayed correctly (it shows values close to the cadence, for example, 160, although the real

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

Experience of use - 6 months, before that I had no sports watch, there is nothing to compare with. Good watch, I like almost everything: made with high quality, strong, light and comfortable on the hand. Good display information. Cons for me: not very pretty time dials and not a very large selection of them, the display turned out to be smaller than I expected (but it's still convenient to read all the information). The battery lasts an average of 6 days, I have workouts from Monday to Saturday

    Cons
    • after 5 months, Bluetooth began to blunt (perhaps on the phone, and not on the clock). Sometimes you have to unpair and reconnect because the watch is out of sync with the app. Sometimes it loses connection with the chest heart rate monitor or shows an overestimated pulse (190-200 beats), but this happens when jogging in frost - maybe because of the cold .

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

I will never make this purchase again.

I tried this "novelty" of the premium segment . Well, or something like that. Then I bought a Huawei Watch GT. And . I'm glad that I got rid of this handicraft of Finnish manufacturers! The functionality is poor. The app is just a mess. The menu in the watch itself is the nonsense of a madman: I'm not used to it. Before them there were harmin 235: straight heaven and earth. In general, my personal opinion is this: if they cost 10 thousand (from the officials), they could be bought. And so - at…

    Pros
    • What could you like there. Except perhaps "prestigezhzhzhzh". :) Oh, yes: synchronization with Strava.
    Cons
    • Bad app. Poor functionality. The price tag is three times higher than reality.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

For running, swimming, cycling and truism, the watch is what you need! nothing more, just sports! Got pros: Great watch for sports, there are many pre-installed sports programs. If not enough, you can add your own. The battery lasts great, lasts me a week. Its cons: Short cord for charging, but this is not a drawback to the watch itself.
