These BD-Rs are every bit as good as other "mainstream" brands but at a much lower price! Burned 9 BD-R discs and not a single bad or defective disc. I use a Pioneer BDR-XD07UHD recorder. I would definitely order this brand again. They also have a nice blue color to write on.

I bought 50 Disc Cake Boxes from Optical Quantum, Plexdisc, Smartbuy, Imation and Ridata. I recorded them all with 24GB of data on the same BD-R recorder at rated speed and read them out on 5 different BD readers. When the disc failed to read, I replaced the BD reader with one that read the BD-R disc successfully. Quantum Optical Read failed at 1GB on 2 BD burners. I have three computers with Blu-ray recorders. Two USBs, and one is now a larger profile indoor unit. While all three burned blank Blu-ray discs from several other brands with no problem, two of them were absolutely fed up with those discs at an alarming rate. Update 2 2021: I have purchased many of these spindles over the years. Really good. I have very few problems with older discs not playing 100%. Actually I don't remember what happened, maybe I just haven't crossed it yet. However, an average of 1-2 out of 100 fail. So that's great IMO. The only downside is that they spin a bit louder than the value discs. I would still buy the disk with the value if I could find it. Half price ($10 for 50) and never had a bad experience. They also sound quieter
