Don't doubt the price - it's worth it!

My almost 3 month old LOVES this rattle! I was a little embarrassed at the high price I paid until I saw the results! Seeing my daughter so passionate about the rattle is worth it! We use this to motivate her with Tummy Time and she works on her eye tracking skills by following the light on the rattle as we move her up, down and side to side. It's great that the colors change just by touching the rattle! Can't wait for my daughter to reach the age where she wants to hold it and change color…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Nothing here

My son's favorite toy!

My 4 month old loves this rattle! Every time I bring it to him he starts howling and reaching for it, and when he's on his stomach he leans forward to grab it. It's so easy to hold and loves how it glows. Bonus for mom - it will get him out of an occasional meltdown and the rattling sound is nice; not too flashy or tinny. The only thing I would say is that it's hard plastic and he hits his face with it because he's so aroused, but I think it will get better as he gains more control over his…

Great for learning grip and spatial awareness

I bought this after a good friend recommended it and I wasn't disappointed! My son is 3 months old and just beginning to understand things. We have 3-4 more rattles/teething rings and he couldn't grab them due to the thicker size. This toy's stand is thin enough for sure grip and hold! Yes, he's slapped his face a few times, but I think this toy will help him with his spatial awareness and motor control over time. This is not a very good harness as the head is so large I would not recommend…

I'm sorry I spent as much money as I did on this rattle

This rattle is too expensive for what it is. It lights up when you or a child shake it and changes color between red/blue/green. Below is a small mirror. My four month old looks at it but shows no more interest than any other rattle/toy. It's also not great for teething due to the larger hard plastic bulb and mirror base. I don't see anything that justifies this sticker price, and the company's forbearance that this is an "educational" and "essential" item for a child really pisses me off. Save

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • High price

Very poor quality - am I taking crazy pills?

I have a really hard time understanding how this product has received such high ratings. First, the quality of the plastic in this toy is very poor. This is a thin, brittle plastic typical of very cheap toys. Printing and colors are not clear. And our device was defective right after unpacking. It lit up when you first put the batteries in, but then didn't light up again until you took the batteries out and put them back in. I think the company that made this spent more money on the packaging…

It's worth it. Trust.

Good. I know. $20 for a baby rattle. What? no To the right? not right. It's really awesome. Serious. Got it when my daughter was about 3m. At first she wasn't very keen on it, but as she got bigger it helped her with dexterity as she could grasp it easily and she was interested in throwing it from hand to hand. His glowing part mixed with the rattle has kept her from crying on numerous car rides (I shake her rattle and slap it to change the light, she watches in wonder) and she loves to chew on

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Yes it's expensive but still buy it

I really love and recommend these rattles they are very expensive which really stinks but I had 4 kids and this is my second rattle, the only reason the first one broke is because they left it on the heater and it melted. My 1st child was having a really hard time reaching for things with her after a few months, we ended up buying this rattle and she was reaching for things straight away, my other children absolutely loved it and now with my last, my youngest, I have a new light bought makes…
