Works with Windows 10 which makes all my original card readers useless. I could read all types of cards including compact flash. You must insert the card very carefully, so as not to bend the contacts, do not use force. The card only goes one way, so holding it backwards or upside down will bend the contacts. But that's inherent in these types of cards and probably one of the reasons why they haven't been on the market for a very long time.

I love this product! I have a Canon 5d Mark 2 and instead of my old camera with a DD card, this one has a digital camera. It has all the necessary ports for cards and I haven't had any problems! The light glows blue when plugged in and powered on. With some other card readers I had an issue where my computer couldn't read them, but this one works great. When inserting the CF card, be careful not to bend the pins inside.

I had this reader so I could look through some of the old cards lying around. For this purpose it worked great. Postponed by a week and then needed again. When I plugged it in a second time, nothing was recognized. It just didn't work. Tried microSD, tried SD, even tried Compact Flash. Nothing worked. It failed when I really needed it. If he could get zero stars he would. Luckily this was during Revane's return period!

Mine arrived promptly but the card reader was not working (even after updating drivers and downloading new drivers). It only works on one USB port, and the one that worked periodically turns it on and off (possibly a loose connection in the cable?). I checked my PC's USB ports to make sure the problem wasn't mine, but it wasn't, as my other thumb drives, external hard drives, and other USB devices worked fine. I was able to return it and got a refund.

Excellent price, very comfortable. Connect with an OTG (On-The-Go) USB cable to easily read larger maps than your smartphone can normally accommodate. I bought this to have more than 1 SD card in my computer, it worked fine for a few days and then I stopped using it. When I needed it for my new MacBook Pro it was terrible. It would take forever for the reader to read my SD card, and more than half the time it didn't even read it. Sometimes it read and then randomly disappeared from my computer. We had an old SD card from an old camera and wanted to transfer the photos to our computer. I looked around and this was the best as it had 4 different slots for multiple types of cards instead of just 2 types. We received it, tried it, and it fits the Sony camera SD card we had.
