We had an old SD card from an old camera and wanted to transfer the photos to our computer. I looked around and this was the best as it had 4 different slots for multiple types of cards instead of just 2 types. We received it, tried it, and it fits the Sony camera SD card we had. It simply has a USB end for connecting to a laptop. We downloaded photos very easily. I'll save that for other cards in case we need to wipe data in the future. Thanks for a great product!
