Smartwool socks among the best

I have worn Smartwool socks for many years. They are comfortable and fit well. I love how they are made and it's great that you buy them in your size. I would give them five stars all round, but the new crew socks I bought don't stretch up as high on my feet as the Smartwool crew socks I already have. Sitting up is more comfortable for me.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

I will not buy again

My husband loves these socks so I bought several pairs. One star deducted because I still find the price ridiculous for what they are.socksedit: It's been almost a year and one of the socks already has a hole. my husband doesn't wear these socks, but he wears them to work maybe twice a week. He changes socks as I bought several pairs. They also pill quite a bit. For the price I would have liked better quality. I buy cheap socks and they last a lot longer!

  • Free for educational purposes

Good socks for every day

These socks are the best I've found for everyday wear. Lightweight pillow for comfort without bulk. Warm for most cold weather assignments I need, although I would opt for a thicker sock for longer cold weather assignments on really cold days. They are also comfortable on warm days. These socks have held up well to heavy use over the past year and have retained their shape and comfort wash after wash. I found them to be good value for money and I have 6 or 7 pairs.

Pros
  • Absolutely great!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Found my Marathon Socks

Don't let the name 'walk' fool you, these socks are great for long distances. This is my first pair of Merino wool socks after having worn polyester for most of my life. I've taken them on several runs that have lasted over an hour in the Midwest summer heat/humidity and so far there have been no hot spots or blisters. In fact, they keep my feet surprisingly cool. My only complaint is that the hem around the top wasn't sewn properly and sort of unraveled (that's how it arrived). Not that big of

that's probably a good choice. But if you want casual every day.

I am returning this product but not because of the quality! These socks feel nice and are very soft, but they are a bit thicker than what I was looking for. The padding in the sole of the sock makes it thick and the leg of the sock is a little narrow and tight (but this is a recurring issue for me). If you're looking for quality wool socks with light cushioning for hiking or something else, this is probably a good choice. But if you're looking for casual everyday merino wool socks that are more

Worst socks ever! - Men's

I'm a big fan of wool socks and wear them for all sports and outdoor activities because of their natural antimicrobial properties and excellent moisture resistance. In my opinion, these "Smart Wools" are neither. smart, no wool. Only nylon has a feel that makes your foot slip and slide in your shoe like nothing I've ever worn. Halfway through the run I had to stop, take them off and walk without socks, they were so bad! They might be fine under a pair of Birkenstocks for walking down the hall…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No effect
