The padding and stitching of these socks are perfect for ski boots

I usually wear size 11.5 shoes, I bought a size L shoe and it fits my feet well. The padding and seams of these socks are perfect for ski boots. The sock stays in place and helps prevent friction that leads to blisters.

Pros
  • nylon, elastane, merino wool
Cons
  • rosette required

They go perfectly with my Russell Loafers

I'm a fan of Smartwool PhD Nordic socks. They go perfectly with my Russell moccasins. I only wore socks when the snow was 20 degrees. My feet were warm and comfortable.

  • Clothing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Too tight at the ankle!

These are thick round socks for skiing, NO. very tight bandage at the ankle. My ankle top is 8 1/4". I can't find Smartwool anymore without tight ankles. I'm throwing away this expensive brand. The difference between Smartwool socks now and socks I bought over 2 years ago is about 2- 3" at ankle height when stretched. Same goes for men's and women's socks. They feel good for the first 5 minutes, then feet start to tingle and fall asleep. Not good for circulation at all. I can't use them…

Pros
  • Girl
Cons
  • Expensive
