Smashbox Cover Shadow Palette Ounce Makeup Review

It's hard to find good matte shades and a few years ago I tried the Smashbox trio with success and was just as excited about this palette . I'm almost fifty, so shimmers, beautiful as they are, can be exhausting for me. I will often use this palette for shadows and transitions.

I wasn't sure I could replace this matte eyeshadow palette from Smashbox Cover Shot. So often products cannot be found when the original is almost gone. Nice that this product is still available. Great colors and easy application

Smashbox shadow colors are very concentrated so not much can be achieved. I really like the matte palette because it's versatile. I love matte shadows. It looks nice and nude and the colors harmonize well with each other, overall the palette had issues with small smudges in some of the darker shades, but a bit of layering and some extra brushwork fixed that. The mirror sucks, there are no brushes to throw away and delays the whole working day. I wanted a nice, subtle nude look, which I managed to do with this palette. I love it, maybe I'll buy it later
