Smays OTG Micro-B Ethernet Adapter

This device may work with other computers that use a micro USB connection, but it does and will not work with a Kindle HD Fire tablet and cannot recommend this device to attempt to connect to the Internet with this device.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • you could have chosen a newer model

Plug and play perfect!

I had to use a wired ethernet connection for my Raspberry Pi Zero W. Wi-Fi was not up to the task. I just plugged it in and it automatically worked great! No setup required. No stress. I wish everything would work this well. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • factor set

Works great on my Galaxy Tab E

I don't have access to Wi-Fi for health reasons so this alternative is great! It works fine on my Galaxy E Tab. Update 7/25/21. This connector messed up my Galaxy Tab e. It worked well, and one day the indicator just stopped glowing. After that, my tablet wouldn't turn on anymore.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Neutral

Bought for Raspberry Pi Zero W

Bought for use on Raspberry Pi Zero W. Built a pi hole and wanted to connect it directly to a modem. The connection was unstable and kept dropping. Most obvious when using SSH. The connection hung randomly and frequently. Internet requests often bypassed Pi-Hole because the connection dropped and the ads got through. Instead, I had to use WiFi above 5 GHz. I would not recommend this product for this application.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Long wait

Pros
  • Adding 10/100 Mbps wired networking capability for compatible devices and the ability to share hard drive files, printers and peripherals
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Works for the operator running the executable

Worked in Dell 2 in an edition of Windows 10 laptops i.e. Intel processor without ethernet, so works on all Intel laptops i.e. Windows that have EXE- files are executed. Don't try to use Android unless the menu in settings includes an ethernet check before ordering. I ordered it for a cell phone and the Dell didn't work on the cell phone as I didn't have an ethernet menu but it worked on the Dell running the exe files.

Pros
  • . Compatible with Raspberry Pi 2, Raspberry Pi Zero W (Wireless), Win Tablet, Android tablets; Mini PC/TV BOX/HDTV Part
Cons
  • Low Repairability
