Good quality. Unlike some other inexpensive end cups, these get hit a few times when the crate is delivered to the machine.

Very heavy, as written. Once you screw your ring terminals into this thing, it's going nowhere. And with the plastic this thing is made of, you don't have to worry about it melting on you.

This thing is supposed to be rugged, but when installed in a rugged 3/4 thick case, it's too shallow for the speaker terminals inside the case to work. This is a huge oversize and very poorly designed for its intended purpose. I should have just installed the terminal block directly through the box with similar screws. I will never buy this crap again.

SMD does not ruin anything. It's worth the price if you're looking for the best. I have to use SMD cups as my HCCA destroyed the others I used. They are very durable and will not leak. Also very easy to maintain. You can change, adjust or modify the hardware to meet changing needs. I run one for each voice coil so I can change the impedance if needed. Excellent investment.

Perfect for my needs. Tight seal for hole saw when carpet is out of the way. No need for sealant. No nut clatter. No sparking due to weak plug-in terminals. The material is very hard. I think it's worth the extra cost. The screw installation protrudes a bit and isn't the most aesthetic thing, but it's not permanently attached so you can trim or replace the screw if needed. Perhaps a cover could be made to fit in with the wire section removed. Although it may be more of a special request item…

Not knocking the actual product just the shipper. I didn't receive it with 8 mounting screws. It's ok I have the screws but when it says they are included it would be nice if they included them the actual product is the most solid terminal i have seen and the screws and washers are of a very high quality it is for most boxes overkill but worth it.

They didn't even make the cup deep enough for the 3/4 plywood used in almost every crate (especially for the heavy duty it's designed to take) with it they don't get in the way of the installation. See pictures, I've tried to describe the process in as much detail as possible. Then there's the hardware issue that everyone else has pointed out.
