Not what I expected

These screws are of acceptable quality but not up to the task. I wanted them to assemble a 2x4 PT handrail on a small stair case (4 steps). They are too thin and too easy to remove. I'm showing a picture to compare with the DeckMate screws I usually use. I wanted to use pocket holes for easier assembly. But in the end I had to go back to a more powerful propeller which I'm sure will stand the test of time.

Pros
  • Package Width: 6.86cm
Cons
  • Thin

Pros
  • Packaging length: 10.41 cm
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I recently built a new workbench for my workshop. The table top is 2 1/4" thick and rests on a 2x6 rod base frame. It mounts with 2-1/2" #8 Kreg countersunk screws. Unfortunately, I planned on only using 16 screws and found I only had 10 screws left in my set (and they were just the silver color, NOT the one with a blue cat). The 2-1/2" version wasn't available locally (smaller sizes were), so I temporarily attached the tabletop with 10 screws I had on hand, then ordered this set of 50 from…
