Use firmly for years!

Great things. It does a really good job of removing smoke from the house and furniture. clothes and hair. My biggest problem is that every other bottle has some kind of spray problem. And remove the atomizer, insert it. The other bottle is not easy as it is tamper evident. Otherwise I will continue to use it. (lavender scent)

Works perfectly! suitable for spray

I used this product in a purchased used car which was obviously a smoker's car. The smell was just awful and I got the retailer to drop the price because of it. I've tried other methods that didn't work, but this one worked wonders. The smoke smell has been greatly reduced and I plan to apply a "second coat" in a few days to completely eliminate the smell.

Worked great after the fire in my apartment building

Smoke damaged everything in my apartment after the fire in the lower floors of my house. I've used Smoke Eater on a variety of items: kitchen utensils, furniture, small appliances, bags, and even some papers. This had a positive effect on everything and did not leave any unpleasant marks. This was not a one-size-fits-all solution; I also washed a lot of things with soap and water. But I don't think I could have successfully eliminated the smoke smell without this product.

Does not work with air fresheners

I bought this in a lavender scent for an armchair. I shampooed the chair twice and the cigarette smell was still there so I decided to give it a try. I sprayed the fabric, didn't spray a bit, went all out. It smelled only of lavender and cigarettes. Didn't eliminate the smell at all. I even tried again a few days later and I had the same result. As a last try, I shampooed the chair a third time and sprayed it with Smoke Eater a third time. The results are the same. This will not remove theโ€ฆ

A great air freshener that doesn't do a great job of permanently removing the smell of smoke.

Benefits: This product contains natural ingredients, so it won't do you any more harm than bad smoke smell. Smells good while it lasts. I would call it more of an air freshener as it only lasts 1-2 hours, after which the smell returns to full strength. CONS: I recently moved into an apartment and the previous owner was a smoker. The only places that still smelled of smoke were the toilets and bathroom. I wet the walls, countertops, pantry and bathroom cabinets and they were pretty wet. Theโ€ฆ
