Smooth Bor 102 Flex Fill 1 1 Hose Review

What I received had fins inside and out, was tired that it would only seal properly for a fresh water tank and tried to cover a couple of those fins with a hose clamp to prevent leakage prevent, will there be a leak or not? In addition, it is very flexible.

Will not fit 1 1/4 fitting and big stores said they didn't have anything that would fit the hose when I brought it in. I was also advised to try pinning the ends would be almost pointless as the tubing doesn't have a smooth end to create a tight seal. I only bought this item because I couldn't find any other option at the time.

After trying others this one is the best. I had to make a right turn and the others were too stiff to turn a turn or two so they collapsed. This was my last attempt and it worked perfectly! Made a turn and didn't collapse. Since it's ribbed throughout, I found the ends to be very snug. Overall this is a great product.

The quality of the hose looks good and as expected but whoever wrapped it up and pulled it off the shelf did a pretty poor job. The box was large and open. Very badly packaged, and the bottom also opened (see photo). Also, as advertised, I ordered 10 feet. It turned out to be 3 cm shorter.
