MAYBE THE BEST BUY I'VE EVER MADE FROM AMAZON

Possibly the best purchase I've ever made from Revain, I was a little worried about 20 watts per side but it's more than enough! I couldn't be happier with that! A real subwoofer is a big plus! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to downsize their system without sacrificing sound quality and performance. There's one thing you need to know, the speaker stands on the back are very close together and if those wires run there it could easily be a problem shorting everything out, so…

Works perfectly. Good sound.

Died after 20 months. silent. There is no way to change the input channels. He wasn't there often. Too bad I liked him before he died. He's pretty small. Use them to drive a pair of Micca MB42X bookshelf speakers (black) and a subwoofer. I'm more constrained by my speakers (in a large room) than an amp that sounds accurate with no distortion and no (to the listener) fatigue. I'm pretty picky about the sound quality. I use it via optical cable to my old AppleTV. There's only one button for power

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Hard to say

Sounds great, but gets hot

. The topping amp never got hot, even when played hard on Pioneer Andrew Jones BS22 bookshelf speakers. I recently bought Bose Acoustimass 3 Series V speakers and due to the potential power requirements of the bass module I bought these as they are rated higher RMS than the topping amplifier. I have to say that it really works, especially when the bass module (or subwoofer, if you want to call it) is potentially reaching low frequencies due to the extra power available. However, this amp gets…

Pros
  • is understandable even for the old
Cons
  • I upgraded from the topping TP20 Mk.2 amp to the old

Great desktop amp/DAC solution

Bought to power my pair of Pioneer SP-BS22-LRs in my office. I've read a lot of reviews on the Q5 Pro and I have to say I'm very happy with it for the money and footprint. I have a Chromecast Audio connected via an optical cable and I'm streaming music from Tidal to my phone. This amp has decent power to set up, but don't expect it to push less sensitive speakers too hard. I hooked up my Elac B5s and even at max volume (60) it was still a pleasure to hear right in front of the speakers. The…

Great alternative to a soundbar!

So you need a good sound system for your TV, but you don't need full surround sound. You look at Revain and maybe a few other places and you'll find a lot of soundbars. Unfortunately, many of them look like cheap plastic devices that probably won't sound all that great given the price. Then you have the idea of using bookshelf speakers and an amplifier, but don't want to waste the money and space on a full-fledged stereo receiver. At this stage you will find that your options are very limited…
