Cute but too loosely knitted on the inside

I have several socks with ruffle piping and this pattern caught my attention. However, it was more difficult to put on than other stocking socks, and the knit material inside kept sagging, so I'm worried it will unravel. I will keep them for special occasions but I don't think they will hold up well.

Pros
  • 33% Merino wool, 33% Viscose, 28% Nylon, 6% Elastane
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I don't like all the threads sticking out in the sock

I don't like all the threads sticking out in the sock, my toes get caught in them when I put them on. I only bought them because my doctor recommended them after my ankle surgery. They look good and are very tight. I'd be happy to take them off in a few hours. Let's see how the fabric behaves after washing. For the price paid I expected better quality.

Pros
  • Made in the USA
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great compression, stylish and comfortable!

The Sockwell brand is a great product when it comes to compression stockings. Their weight is ideal for every season, even for colder times. These are very stylish and comfortable socks as well as moderate compression. I always get these supplements in the gym locker room and people are surprised they are compression stockings because they are so "trendy". Two of my interns wear them too!

Pros
  • SIZES: Small/Medium fits US size 4-7.5 for women, Medium/Large fits US size 8-11. The length of the sock corresponds to the shin.
Cons
  • Fits

Too long for people with short calves

Yes I have short thick calves and these socks are for tall people. If I pull them under the knee there is too much material and it will stick together. Wearing all that fabric below the knee gets pretty uncomfortable. I've tried compensating for this by spreading the fabric around the leg, with little success. Does anyone make long compression stockings for short people? Calf-length socks don't fit me either.

Pros
  • Machine washable
Cons
  • All right

Pretty Socks for Base Layers & Compression

The socks aren't really my fault - I bought them with 15-20 compression instead of my usual 20-30 and I can really feel the difference. I did this because the higher compression Sockwell socks I've bought are a lot tighter than most of my socks. I think that's because I'm at the top of the sizing range (5'8, shoe size 10.5, calf 14.5"). I thought density versus size would result in more compression, but unfortunately I was wrong The quality of these socks is good but they aren't as heavy as…

Pros
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE YARN: Provides natural moisture management, odor control and thermoregulation.
Cons
  • Not the best
