Description of 🧽 6-Pack of Soft Sanders Sanding Blocks

Blocks are resistant to most solvents. Tapered edges of blocks permit sanding up to and underneath those hard-to-access areas. The blocks are best used with adhesive backed sandpapers. Sold in sets of 6. Three different lengths available.

Gave them to my brother in law for about 2 weeks.

Gave these to my brother in law about 2 weeks before Christmas so he can continue fixing this car. Since then he has sent me photos three times after his practical work.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Something different

So good I bought again

This was my second set as it was flexible to conform to the highly contoured body parts they wear. The body was badly damaged and required a lot of work. I couldn't grind the Vette 66 records without them.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Excellent tool, best of all sanding blocks

They work great and are a complementary tool. Start with something more complex, like Dura-Mater blocks, and stop when you're happy with how close you are to being flat. But. Nothing beats them for corners or complex shapes! I'm currently doing 57 Thunderbird and the summaries are amazing!

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Working speed

Wow! It is great.

I used a different, stiffer flat block before. My Corvette project is all curves, no flat surfaces. Decided to give it a try after seeing a video about them. Wow they are great. Doesn't matter. Forget the others. This is the way. In less than 30 seconds you will see that they are the best for sanding blocks. Worth every penny.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Haven't used but happy with purchase

I loved the items but seem a bit skeptical about their long term use as they are made from cheap looking compressed material seem to be stuff . I doubt it will last 10 uses. Hopefully someone can add something to the durability aspect.

Pros
  • Blocks are best used with adhesive backed sandpaper
Cons
  • Crumpled

The sand is ok but overpriced.

They are exactly as stated. They don't really hold their shape like in the online demo video, but they are soft and suitable for different shaped surfaces. They're essentially odd-shaped pool noodles. I can't even imagine the gain from these things. Aside from the initial cost of each cube extruding weird shapes, I believe they can spend these things at fractions of a cent per foot. I don't think you need nearly as many forms as they provide. That's right, I only got by with blue in a few…

Fur! Disappointed

In most cases they will work as advertised. I am disappointed that when changing the grit using the same block for the same area, the foam comes loose and sticks to the adhesive. 5 stars out of 5, the paper is very sticky. The bad side of this is that with every change you destroy the structure of the foam and it starts to distort the edges which I need for the fine body work I do. Now in a YouTube video with. The SOFT-SAND demo shows how easy it is to switch on and off underwater. Yes, put the
