A great addition not only to make breathing easier when soldering electronics, but also to improve visibility.

I have been soldering electrical cables, circuits and connectors for almost 50 years. This simple device definitely works. I've used fans before, but they were tricky to place, and as the smoke moved, so did the temperature. This is a very simple approach, but it works well. As with any technique or process, you learn and improve with practice. This simple fan with a matched filter worked fine for me.
