I'm new to soldering so I used the solder from the kit. But after using it I can notice the difference. Now it's so easy to solder. I will buy this again

Worked on assembling the Megasquirt ECU.

Well soldered. Used it to create a Megasquirt controller and worked as it should. I smoked a little less, but the wick seems normal. All connections are tight and well glued.

This is a great solder

I soldered a few things and this solder holds them all. From small car parts that are not exposed to high temperatures to electronic products in all fields, including household appliances. I recommend to all pilots!

That's cheating! Best in welding and brazing

Another bad product label. It was claimed to be 50 grams of SOLDER. I weighed the package, it only weighs 50 grams, NOT 50 grams of solder, and the package is probably about 1/3 of the total weight. I won't return it, but I won't buy it again either.

Good value for money for projects that do NOT require lead-free solder.

Good for household and hobbies. NOTE: Leaded solder is becoming less and less popular with regulators. Some consumer electronics manufacturers and other manufacturers now require the use of lead-free solder for manufacturing, repair and maintenance. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's requirements for your projects.

Old-fashioned formula, excellent quality, inexpensive

Very good quality. Contains the main element lead. Do not chew, wash hands after preparation, avoid inhaling smoke. If you throw a tantrum and live in California, you may or may not get cancer at some point in your life. Not necessarily from this product, but driven to hysteria and living in California. By the way, this is a 0.8mm wire. For hand soldering, you can choose a wire with a diameter of 1.5 mm. (.031", .061 is easier)

So relatively new to soldering as I've recently gotten into the radio hobby and really needed to learn how to solder. I own a few cars now and they require quite a bit of soldering if you really get into it, so I learned how to solder pretty quickly, going from a cheap $10 flat iron to a Weller variable power flat iron and short then to Hakko Fx-888d, which I'm happy with.
