Works exactly as intended. A bit pricey compared to other options but you get a premium product. The included plumb is basic but also a nice addition for those who don't have bindings yet. The arms are flexible enough and long enough to provide any form of support, yet stiff enough to provide a secure hold. The base is heavy enough not to tip over and the cutouts are perfect for small parts and a center plumb roll.

The only thing I like is the metal base, but despite that it's small, about 5 inches wide. The gooseneck is made entirely of plastic and consists of many parts, so over time it will wear out. They advertised a silicone tip cover on alligator clips, just one look and you can tell it's just heat shrink tubing (it's some type of plastic, NOT silicone). Not stable at all. Because the base is a very small, lightweight piece of aluminum, it tends to tip over. It's almost impossible to work with without squeezing it onto the desktop - something other solutions I use don't need. I bought this particular product among many nearly identical ones because I need rubber protectors that slide over alligator teeth to protect the items I work with from scratches.
