Plugged in, my jet ski worked fine, no problems

Don't buy this thing - junk. Plugged in, my jet ski worked fine, no problem. On the second start, the starter stuck and wouldn't turn off. The solenoid valve has a problem closing after starting the engine. Buy an SBT solenoid or burn the starter.

$15 and 15 minutes of work got us back on the water.

The solenoid I received did not match the one in the photo. However, it matched part of my 96 SPI. It fixed my intermittent startup problem. It has been working perfectly for 2 weeks. At $15 and 15 minutes of work, this was a much better option than the $200 I was offered at a local repair shop.

Don't buy that cheap solenoid, it will burn your starter motor.

Installed this solenoid and started immediately. THEN it stayed open on the 4th start causing the starter to spin and spin and spin. I had to disconnect the negative terminal so it wouldn't ruin my starter. Luckily I haven't ridden it yet, so I was able to disconnect the battery in about 30 seconds. DO NOT BUY.

I reluctantly bought after seeing it was cheaper than a starter and this one works great. Starts Every Time

Thank you for a great value product that works. I bought two units from my local marine dealer, one new and one used. Both didn't work. So in the diagnoses there was also an electromagnetic relay. I reluctantly bought after seeing it was cheaper than a starter and this one works great. Runs every time. Thank you Crank n Charge.

After receiving the shock sticker from Seadoo dealer and said.

After the Seadoo dealer shocked us with a sticker and told us they had a three week reserve, we decided to replace the magneto ourselves. I found a YouTube video on how to do it and three hours later the water skis were back in the water. The main downside was that Seadoo seemed to go out of their way to make the solenoid difficult to access. It would have taken 15 minutes if I didn't have to perform acrobatics to get on the jet ski for the exchange. Has been working like clockwork for a few…
