They say to turn on and save the settings you had when they turn off, I have a timer and they go back to their original settings every time they turn on again. The desired setting is not saved. Aggravating. In addition, they not only have a light signal, but a strange blinking, which I don't like in all but one of the shots. If you like flashing them you should like these, but I was just looking for a chase.

Very happy with product, works exactly as described. Bright light, many functional options on the remote control. Did everything I expected of him. Highly recommend too, adhesion wasn't a problem, I didn't buy the type that came with tape. If anything I would have liked a few more anchor nails which came with it but didn't break the deal. Still 5 out of 5 stars for everything.

The biggest violation of this item is that it resets every time it's turned on. Unfortunately the rest isn't "always on" which is what I needed. You would think the first setting would be "always on", right? But no, it's a mix of all light settings. So I used this for a "pond" in the yard and it started flashing every night. I live in Arizona and have a rocky river landscape. Every Christmas I decorate it with rope garlands. I always lose a few and have to replace them every year. Since the price was low and the length was long, I decided to try them. For the price I wasn't expecting much from them but to my surprise they are the most beautiful blue and bright lights I have ever bought for my river! Wow! Always read the "fine print”. Of course, the outdoor LED light tube part seems to be well-designed and safe. However, "the controller box (infrared receiver) and power supply are not waterproof and need to be GOOD protected." To be fair, the description says it in the fine print. However, this very "feature" does NOT make these lights "outdoor safe" (unless you plug in indoors or purchase additional weather protection).
