🧵 Copper Wire Spool - Solid Round Construction Review

I used it to hang metal photos on the wall. Although the thicker wire was more difficult to work with, it created a more substantial presence and I believe it will hang the image better than the 18 gauge copper wire used in other photographs. Photos are included below. In the photo with aspens, I use thicker wire. The rest of the wires are 18 gauge, same brand.

I bought 18 gauge copper wire. I used a wire winder to make beads out of it and made an anklet out of twisted copper beads and some magnetic rare earth beads. The wire is soft, easy to work with, but keeps its shape very well! I couldn't be happier! My project turned out exactly how I imagined it! In fact, it turned out so beautiful I made a matching necklace (completely unplanned, just couldn't resist.)

I felt I had to write a review as this wire really exceeded my expectations. Most other vendors sell lacquered or clear coated wires that are unusable for electrical applications or those where the artist is looking for a patina that will show over time. I am in the first camp and I am completely satisfied with the purchase. I immediately checked the surface resistance with a quality measuring device and found it to be good and electrically clean.
