No more tear stains!

I have a Bichon Frize that has had tear problems in the past. I switched to distilled water and it made a small difference, but I needed to do a little more. Another Bichon mom suggested Solid Gold and we said goodbye to tear stains! My dog loves it, the heart shapes are very cute and tears are a thing of the past. I am so glad we found this product - I will not feed my dog anything else!

Good Products: Dry

All three of my chihuahuas love this fish flavored food even though it's called chicken. I have two elderly rescuers who had their teeth pulled and the pellets are small enough that they can eat without difficulty or discomfort. My one year old loves it too! The price is reasonable and the food is good for your digestive system. I've been feeding my puppies this food for a few months and intend to keep it until there is a problem on their future vet visits. would recommend.

Great dog food! for dogs

The dog is sitting and is not satisfied with the food that the dog is eating. I've been using this brand for a larger lamb dog and brown rice for 13 years. Tried this instead for this big-eared wonder dog that has chopsticks for legs. Worked much better after a month: gained much needed weight, got a nice fluffy coat and more energy. I also use wet food mixed with warm water (dog smells delicious). Feed 1 tablespoon of wet food (same brand) to 1/3 cup of dry food with some warm water twice aโ€ฆ

Read the ingredients. It contains extra methionine for a reason.

methionine has been added to the product. If you look at it you will find the following information: So if methionine is found in meat and fish ingredients in pet food, then why would DL-methionine supplement be added to pet food? "Diets that contain minimal amounts of meat proteins, are heavily loaded with plant proteins like soy, or are low-calorie foods diluted with inert ingredients like grains and fiber may require additional methionine supplementation. that adding the chemical means youโ€ฆ

Well made food seems to work for the picky hearts

This is a really good dog food as I see from the ingredients list. in detail why they give it the highest possible rating) and the pellets are very adorable in size/shape for my furry children who are called Coton de Tulears. I'm giving it 4 stars though because my furry babies eat it out of desperation rather than appetite (although their breed is notorious for being the pickiest eater on the planet and mine will surely remind me of that any blessed day!). 5 stars to me would mean that my dogs

HEART DISEASE ASSOCIATED WITH GRAIN-FREE DIET!

Please do not feed your dogs grain-free. This is all a marketing scam/trend that spreads false information about what dogs should eat. Please ask your vet about it (that's how I found it). (By my vet) Boutique, Exotic and Grain Free (BEG) diets are NOT recommended at this time! The FDA is investigating the link between diet and heart disease. of 560 cases were reported to the FDA between January 2014 and April 2019. Reported cases include 119 deaths. Of the cases studied so far, 90% had aโ€ฆ

  • The list is getting long.

Since switching to a Chihuahua/Miniature Schnauzer mix 8 months ago I have tried many different dog foods: Blue Buffalo Life Protection Small Breed Lamb, YaDoggie (small online brand from California ) Lamb, Merrick's Little Plates Lamb, Fine Gold and Toy Rock Chicken and Chickpeas, Fromm's Four Star Lamb and Lentils (in that order). I switched to Solid Gold Chicken because I found it here at a great price and it had great ingredients comparable to other grain free foods I've been feeding andโ€ฆ
