I hope this one lasts longer

I've bought a lot of these things and they always work really well for a while. mostly done after a while. However, they are definitely worth having.

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • So far so good

Decent little adapter

This thing lets you turn a SATA SSD into a portable data source, much like a flash drive, but much, much faster. A 128GB SSD now costs about the same as a 128GB USB stick.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Contact Seller

5/5 Electronics for cables and connections

Conforms to the description and the purpose. A power cable and transmission of HD. Of course it was convenient, I had to transfer my CV from my broken computer, which I worked on for hours. With this cable I was able to safely transfer it to my new computer. Best $6 I've spent in a long time.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Not bad

Doesn't work - SATA cable

Lights come on but no drive I've tried spins. I wish I had tested it when I first received it so I could return it. I've been carrying it in my tech bag for 3 months now for no reason when I first needed to use it and it let me down.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Annoying

Does not work in SATA cables

The lights come on but none of the drives I've tried spin up. I wish I had tested it when I first received it so I could return it. I've been carrying it in my tech bag for 3 months now for no reason when I first needed to use it and it let me down.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

I bought this device to read and write data from my Dell Latitude e6430 laptop to a 500GB SATA SSD via USB 3.0. I wanted to use to store and quickly access frequently changing data with the high speed of the SSD. I had initial problems with a similar connector from Revain, which simply wouldn't make a working connection and because it didn't have a power and data indicator. to diagnose what was wrong, or whether the device was defective or the problem was with the SSD was unknown. With this…

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • No auto mode
