They keep sending replacement blades instead of product

One day I received a replacement blade and filed a complaint. Then they sent me another replacement blade for the second time. However, it's a good deal if you need a replacement blade as it's $1 cheaper, so that's it.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Operating speed

Easy to use and works great

My Warmblood gelding has a rather thin mane, so plucking it was out of the question. I borrowed a single comb from one of the barn trainers and it worked so well I bought it myself. Now this is the only way to trim my horse's mane. There is a way to use it, so be sure to read the instructions. Pretty expensive product but it works!

Disappointed - Bath & Grooming

I was really excited to try this comb and was very disappointed. I used the comb for about 10 minutes and combed through 1/5 of my horse's mane. He wasn't too fat. It was properly washed, dried and combed. I followed the instructions and watched the demo online. After about 10 minutes, the blades dulled very quickly. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Great for my sensitive mare who doesn't like her mane.

Great for my sensitive mare who doesn't tolerate her mane pulling. I used this to take off about 6 inches of mane! Can leave a "cropped" look at times, but that's easily remedied by teasing out a few strands the old-fashioned way. I bought these because buying a new one is almost as expensive as buying a replacement blade, wish they were cheaper!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • So far so good

I love Solocombs. I really like solo combs. I would even say I love Solocombs. They work very well and make it easier to pull out an already thinned mane. At the same time, DO NOT ORDER IT FROM THIS SELLER! I ordered a Solocomb and received a replacement blade. "Okay, just an accident," I thought! So I sent the blade back claiming it was the wrong item and they sent me another replacement blade! You are clearly incompetent.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

Great product!: Mane and tail combs

This was just what I needed for my gelding. He absolutely cannot pull his mane without sedatives and it was the perfect solution. He has a very thick mane (like a Shetland pony), a warmblood of 17.1 hands and the task took almost 1.5 hours. I made very small pieces at a time. At first he was scared, but very quickly realized that I wasn't pulling, then he relaxed and even enjoyed it. Can't comment on the durability of the blades yet, but to be honest even if I have to replace them every time…

Pros
  • Easy to use

Not a huge time saver

To be honest it took as long as the pull. Also, it looked pretty awful on the first try (like I just used scissors). However, after a few uses, my gelding's mane looks beautiful and looks like it's about to be pulled. It doesn't thin out the mane like pulling (this can be a plus or a minus depending on your goal). This comb is very comfortable for both me and my horse, hands no longer hurt after pulling! I would say if you have a crazy unruly messy mane then plucking would be the best option…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
