Worked well in Spares

Turns out the actual relay was version -1C- which is SPDT and not -1A- which is SPST. The dryer I put it in had a hole for an extra contact (unused) so that wasn't a problem. All documents stated -1A-, only the relay was -1C-.

If your dryer is knocking after stopping in the middle of a cycle, then this is your relay!

Perfect! Our GE gas dryer stopped mid-cycle and punching the dryer restarted it. This relay is to blame. I removed the main circuit board, desoldered the old relay and replaced it with the exact same one. And bam! No more running down to the basement to see if the dryer has stopped and the laundry is still wet.

The tumble dryer works like new after replacing the faulty relay with this one. Send a replacement.

A defective relay (circled) soldered near the right edge of the board and replaced with a Song Chuan 832A-1A-FS 30A SPST (1 Form A) 12VDC relay. It was the same trace and pinout. The tumble dryer has been working great for 3 months. My tumble dryer randomly stopped tumbling during a cycle. From time to time, a smack on the top of the dryer would get it working again. After I replaced the relay it worked like a charm.
