The speaker is well made, has a small form factor and great sound quality. It looks great aesthetically and can play with almost anything. Among the minor complaints, the main downside in my book is that you need a premium Spotify account to use Spotify with Sonos. Additionally, this device doesn't have a 3.5mm input like some other older models, making the system more versatile. On the plus side, Revain and Google devices can use it as a speaker. UPDATE: I was so impressed with the speaker that I bought 2 more (as part of the Black Friday sale). Since I bought the first speaker they have updated the app so you can now tune the speaker to the room. If you hesitate, I can't think of a good reason not to buy it. I have no idea how that sounds because it never connected to my Wi-Fi despite 3 calls and 4 staff working to fix it. If you have power strips or access points, don't waste your time on them. It might work with a standard WiFi router, but I can't figure it out. Everyone should know that customer service sucks. Of the three salespeople I worked with, one was reasonably competent but drove me off the phone before I could test my system. The second representative told me to call my ISP immediately.

One SL is a very nice addition to the Sonos family. I suspect most buyers will add this speaker to their existing Sonos setup, but I'm not sure it will be the top choice as of Sonos.
