One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

I want to note that the designers at Sony deservedly eat bread and butter) I really like the design of the cameras and the line of lenses - all lenses look and feel very nice in the hands. For me personally, it affects my work. In terms of length, the FE 16-35GM is a large lens, as if not for a mirrorless camera - it looks impressive! It just seems big, it's lighter than you might think. I shoot 24/7 . I don’t part with the camera and have been using this lens for a week now, and I can say that

Pros
  • The picture is sharp, juicy, no distortion. Dust and moisture resistant. It is very convenient to use, if you think that the size is large and it somehow interferes - you are mistaken)
Cons
  • Price)

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

Has some pros: Very sharp even in the open, although I did not thoroughly check it, I use it with A7M3 - it' best width! Cons below: Probably weight and price, although I have already come to terms with the weight.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

In general, if you have the means, then you can replace it with fixes, but when traveling for me the best zoom, or a couple more Tarmon 28-75 and this Jimaster, by the way, you will immediately notice the difference in image quality, Sony is Sony) Whatever one may say . Got pros: Geometry. It is very keen to maintain the correct proportions even at 16mm, it is clear that physics cannot be deceived, but against the background of the same 16-35 canon of the 2nd version, it is sooo far ahead…

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I switched to Sony from Canon, so everything is relevant in comparison with Canon 16-35 LII. Sony has much higher sharpness, especially not in the center and a much softer and nobler drawing. The price is quite standard for a new optics, so I won’t whine about the price. Its pros: Sharpness across the entire field (in combination with a7RIII). Very beautiful soft blur, which is rare for a width. Very fast autofocus, including video. The color is very similar to other GMs, in particular the…

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

In comparison with other analogues, this lens is the King. In the reviews of other brands I read shortcomings - dust, moisture permeability, Such a shortcoming will not compensate for the cheap criterion. We are not rich people to buy cheap things. Yes, and then live all my life with a dream to sell the worst and buy this handsome man. You need to take optics right away so that you don’t sell it, but use it constantly.

Pros
  • 1. The lens is as strong as a portrait shot (excellent sharpness, great blur) 2. Indispensable when traveling. A trip to Hong Kong when filming in mosques was simply a pleasure. Sharpness, color reproduction, the ability to zoom in and crop the view. 3. Nimble, there are no mistakes if you don’t make a mistake yourself. 4. I really like the design, build quality. I visited the conditions of rain, dense fog in the mountains with a sharp change in temperature. Tested for moisture resistance and a sharp change in temperature withstood. But then the screen on Sonya (7M3) stopped showing, I shot through the reticle (this is a drawback of this series of models, I met a similar review in reviews from others). After drying, the performance of the screen was restored.
Cons
  • 1. The presence of distortion, which can be partially corrected in processing. I am posting a photo without processing. 2. When shooting a group of people, the faces of the extreme people on the front are distorted. This is fixable - it is better to move further and then closer. 3. Price, weight. But this criterion is objective. You can't fool good optics. And the price matches the quality.

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

Before that, I ran with Tamron 17-28, which is stupidly better in this range of focal lengths. It is smaller, more comfortable, lighter, much cheaper, has less backlight and glare problems. At least not inferior in sharpness. Although with somewhat worse bokeh. On it, unlike the 16-35 GM, you can take a photo almost point-blank to the cat's nose to get an interesting look. But GM has much wider focal lengths. There is a huge difference between 28 and 35. If desired, you can even shoot an…

Pros
  • No significant distortion or vignetting Wide range of focal lengths Very rich set Very soft bokeh Silent Comfortable Strong Cutting
Cons
  • Fairly long minimum focus distance Notable problems with light and glare Price

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

FE 16-35/2.8 G Master - Sony's top lens - a landscape painter's dream! So I could not resist and a few months ago I became the owner of this wonderful lens. But about everything in more detail. The first impression is how big and heavy it is! However, one has only to put this miracle of optical construction on the camera, as harmony is restored, weight and dimensions are leveled, and this bunch becomes comfortable to hold. The lens is assembled with excellent quality, the movement of the rings…

Pros
  • Sharpness, speed and accuracy of autofocus, dust and moisture protection, minimal geometric distortions and aberrations, micro-contrast of the resulting image.
Cons
  • Price.

Good quality, well built Sony G Master wide angle lens

I use this E-mount full frame lens with the Sony A7RIII and it's a fantastic combination. The lens is solid, of high quality, but not too bulky and heavy. Using this on a crop sensor like the Sony a6500 will definitely feel big and heavy, but it suits the A7R series well. This is a high quality lens that can be used at wider angles for stunningly sharp photos with minimal chromatic aberration and distortion. Thread size is 82mm, so will fit many quality filters of your choice. A plus:

  • Camera and photo

  • Something different

Perfection at an affordable price

The Sony SEL1635GM is an excellent lens with rimless sharpness and fast autofocus, but it has its own quirks. The reverse telescopic zoom takes a bit of getting used to (the camera pops out as you turn the ring clockwise, and the field of view widens in the process; this is the opposite of a typical telephoto lens, which rotates counterclockwise first and extends zooming). This, too, is nothing more than a peculiarity that needs getting used to. The only downside is the size and weight. While…

Fantastic quality. Light. Impressive opening.

The first impression of this lens is really good. I took some test shots and compared them to two other lenses in the focal range. Comparison with Sony 28mm with 16mm converter vs Zeiss FE 35mm F2.8 lens (my favourite) Here are some test shots - nothing special, I'm not DxOMark - check out their review when they get around to it. Pros: - Rugged construction - the high quality you would expect from a GM lens. - Surprisingly light - I installed it on the a7rii and it doesn't make the camera too…
