Ideal lens for travelers

This is a wonderful lens I bought from Revain for my Sony A6600 and A6000. I have no idea why people gave this lens anything other than five stars. See for yourself - check out the many professional reviews of this lens on You Tube - none of the professional reviewers gave this lens high marks! I travel the world and use zoom lenses all the time because great shots of people, animals or landscapes are not within easy walking distance. A good compact travel TV but not the best choice for professional quality.

This lens fills a gap in Sony's APS-C lens lineup, and it does it pretty well. After a few weeks of frequent use before the return deadline in January, I had an issue with how badly I needed to fill that gap and whether I was better off spending that money on 200-600 or 100-400 and just the latest model A7R. . Many of my problems are not related to the lens, but to the Sony APS-C body. What I like: Very light for the focal length Compact size goes well with my A6500 and A6000 Very goodโ€ฆ

Can the Sony 70-350 keep up with the Sony 100-400 at 40% cost?

It's hard to fault the excellent Sony 100-400 but as a longtime pro I'm sometimes hesitant to take a 3lb lens on the road or long hikes except country with it. I was looking for a lighter option for long telephoto shots and have heard good things about this Sony 70-350. I wanted to be happy with the compromise of having to use it in APS-C mode and getting 26.2MP files on my A7R4, which normally outputs 61MP. The copy I received wasn't as sharp as I had hoped. The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

Photos in sharpness are similar to top fixes. You will look for aberrations on an open one with a magnifying glass. You can very very scribble the picture, approaching the glass from 500-600mm. For this, I forgive him a lot. Plugging a hole? No need. I clamped it a couple of times because something didnโ€™t fit into the depth of field. There is also rain protection, an elastic band on the bayoret. I donโ€™t know why and what to shoot with such glass in cloudy weather, so I didnโ€™t write it as aโ€ฆ

  • Get sharp at all apertures and focus, if the grease did not catch. Good color, bokeh does not scale. The circles at the far end are moderately oval. 640 grams allows you to carry it for a long time without getting tired, you can even carry it in your hand. Cons
  • 1) The stub gives a stable hold of 1 stop when looking through the viewfinder (2 / EGF). 2 stops will already be 20 percent of the marriage. 3 stops almost half of the photo is blurry. Well, how to say itโ€™s not just a marriage, but the quality will be like that of some Deshman sigma 18-400. And if you want razor sharpness, look at eyelashes and feathers from 30 meters, then these are 1 stop, but you want longer - a monopod or a tripod. Add to the fact that the glass is dark. Emphasis on the stomach also helps with the screen tilted up e. 2-3 stops of shutter speed can be pulled. But in general, a weak stub for native G optics. 2) there is no close focus off button. 3) there is no disconnection of the horizontal axis of the stub for postings.
