This camera is quite cheap but for this price you can ask for a better camera. The main downside is the battery life as this camera uses AA batteries and they won't last long, everything else looks simple and clean, nothing high tech, my advice if you like it: go for the Sony w55, it's a very good camera and doesn't cost much more than this. one

Great camera except it ONLY has an LCD screen for viewing pictures so when it's really sunny outside you can't see well. It's also non-rechargeable, so if you want to get rid of all that battery crap, this camera is NOT for you! Still, the SONY quality can't be beat :) It takes great pictures and is a good buy for the price. My fault is for not reading the features too deeply.

Sony cares about the customer! My daughter's regular Sony camera stopped working. We sent it to Sony for warranty repair. Sony was wonderful, they called and made an offer. They offered to wait 3 months for a part, a replacement for a repaired camera OR a refund. I returned the money and bought this camera. It's just as great as the last one. I will continue to buy SONY! You care about the consumer!

This is the very first digital camera I have ever owned and I chose it because most of my friends and family have it and they all say that she is awesome! So I bought this camera along with the generic Sony LCS-CSD carrying case for compatible Cybershot and Sony 1GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Media (MSXM1GST) digital cameras (retail pack). *Note: Although I only bought 1GB of storage, I recommend buying the ones with 2GB instead so you have more room for all your photos!

This is only my second digital camera (the first was a dinosaur which I later sold at a flea market). This has some great features, especially for the price range. There are different settings that you can use depending on the environment (e.g. settings for snowy landscapes). You can use Flash or not if you want. After reading all the reviews and hearing from Sony camera friends, I really hoped for the best with this camera. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. PROS: *IF* you're shooting still subjects in bright light, then the camera will probably do the trick. For example, at a car show I attended last month, some amazing photos were taken.
