Poor condition Sony camcorder

This used Sony Handycam has been listed as "almost new". When I received it, there were several serious problems with it. The image was divided horizontally into six parts, so it was impossible to get a complete picture. The audio cut out, making it impossible to understand what was being said. The video camera light did not work. Besides, it was great. I immediately called Revain and sent it back to the seller. The camcorder was in poor condition and in need of repair. I got my money back as a

Good camera for camera and photography

Considering I haven't used it much it seems very good - good picture quality especially in low light. I like the large screen, but I find the on/off slide button ergonomically placed a bit inconveniently. It's heavier than I expected and since I have small hands it's a little clunky at times. I only downloaded once to my computer, and while everything went fairly smoothly (though not as "transparent" as I would have liked), playback was stuttering. That's one of the reasons I didn't use it…

Good cheap camcorder

I had this camcorder for 5 years then mine died but needing a cheap replacement that could play my old and new Digital 8 cassettes I bought this again. Everything has worked great for 5 years except for the occasional problem with the humidity sensor. It is very sensitive to temperature changes, e.g. B. when changing from inside to outside and vice versa. There are probably better and more modern camcorders out there and if I hadn't bought a used one for a good price I might have thought of…

I am very satisfied with the product

I've been looking for a cheap 8mm video player with FireWire function for a long time. This camera ticks all the boxes. I don't know why Sony decided to drop 8mm cameras and cameras with Hi8 playback capability after this model. My guess is that Sony really wanted to push the Digital 8 market. My original Hi8 camera, which I bought back in 1991, died in 98/99 and both 8mm/Hi8 cameras and DVRs were crazy about prices and repairs back then . So I waited, but then the 8mm market died. Over the…

Bad, bad experience with this vendor

I ordered a Sony DCR-TRV280 camcorder from "Older Boy", with the impression from the description that it could play my old 8mm and Hi-8 cassettes so I can convert them to CDs via the firewire interface. When I found out from the documentation that came with it that this particular Sony model only works with Digital 8 tape and was useless for the purpose I bought it for, I tried to return it to "Big Boy". , by following Revane's online instructions, by printing out a mailing label that Revain…
