Performs its functions, nothing unusual.

It was not possible to achieve neither sharpness nor the absence of noise, Everything is shot on automatic, if there were manual settings, but it doesn’ The task was to shoot something more decent than a mobile phone, but it didn’t quite work out), it's still quite a "soap box".

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

Pros: - Big screen - Good sound and speech quality - Excellent stabilization for handheld recording - The case is assembled quite monolithically - Video recording in low light - Very light - USB cable built into the handle Its cons: - Keys are awkwardly placed - When connected to a computer, you can only copy information - Bad viewing angles at the screen - Inconvenient joystick control

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

Satisfied with the gift! Different pros: The camera was presented for my birthday, I liked it from the very beginning! Very simple operation: turn on and shoot, while the image quality is excellent! outdoors, watch the Sony HDR-CX405 video review on YouTube, you can take amazing shots with the press of a button: Benefits specifically: * Excellent optical 30x zoom, even at 60 The internal stabilizer is stable, macro image, Minimum weight! Feels like it weighs almost nothing! * grams, this…

Good and quality product, but there are flaws.

I took ROSTEST, because. in EURO there is no 2022 language, a charging curve for which you need an adapter and, most importantly, a 1-year warranty, instead of 2 for ROSTEST. In general, I am satisfied with the camera. I was looking for a cheap option with tolerable video, optical stabilizer and inexpensive accessories. Pros below: - small, light. Sometimes I wear it in the inside pocket of my jacket and don't feel it. - Charging for 2 hours is enough, I have not yet been able to check it…

Purchase failed, very dissatisfied.

I bought this camera to be able to record video in Full HD 50 frames / sec. Prior to that, I used a Canon PowerShot SX230 HS Black compact digital camera since 2022, which I shot video in HD 29 frames / sec. (the old Full HD digital camera writes only 25 fps, which no longer suits me). When filming with the Sony HDR-CX405 in sunny weather, the videos seemed to be of quite normal quality at first. Once, when I took the camera to shoot in cloudy weather, I ran into serious problems: the camera…

Pros
  • good stabilizer
Cons
  • the camera is not suitable for shooting in cloudy weather (not to mention twilight or darkness), it makes a lot of noise, in some places it loses sharpness when zooming. In addition, when setting the camera to the maximum video quality, the camera writes the mts. format, which is also very inconvenient to work with: you have to convert the video to a normal mp4 format. Inconvenient manual settings that are deeply hidden somewhere in the middle of the menu (sometimes sometimes you have to press the joystick as many as 12 times to get to the desired menu and manually adjust the desired video parameters)

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

CONCLUSION: A good budget, family camera for beginners. Worthy competitors in 2022 Canon LEGRIA HF R606 and Panasonic HC V270EE. Bought in addition to my excellent Sony nex 5T video camera in many ways. I didn’t like the following (typical for most cameras): after 20 minutes it turned off due to overheating or after 30 minutes programmatically; no video stabilizer; small zoom x3; poor ergonomics for video mode (because it is not sharpened for it). According to the Panasonic HC V270EE, I read…

Pros
  • +++ excellent: optical stabilizer / smooth optical 30x zoom / ergonomics / nimble / battery for about 2 hours of continuous recording / (these are the properties of all normal camcorders) +++ also excellent white balance / autofocus / automatic operation +++ Excellent Macro + manual shooting control (exposure, A, S, focus, white balance) for study and creativity + good sound recording (comparable to Sony nex 5T camera) + acceptable daylight detail (comparable to Sony nex 5T) for a budget camera + small and light, almost pocket-sized + cheap (can be found for 14-15) + other nuances
Cons
  • - noticeable noise (grain, color distortion) in dark conditions, because small matrix and budget. lens (take into account, increase illumination) - preferably more detail, sharpness (treated by the editor) - not designed for light filters (called Sony support, no thread) - brightens a little, especially in the dark (treated in the editor) - there is no fully manual mode (but what is there is also not enough) - not very convenient menu (get used to it) - not a touch screen (for 2.7 "it's even a plus) - other disadvantages disappear due to the budget of the camera

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is acceptable.

Bought as a gift. Later, for the sake of interest, I decided to compare it with the old iPhone 6s plus, which was released a couple of years earlier than this camera. I was very surprised that the phone makes much better photos and videos (the mode in the Sony camera was set to maximum quality). A little upset, I should have added a little money and took a phone with a good camera :) But at the same time, a convenient, lightweight, replaceable battery. The camera is excellent, but in terms of

Pros
  • - Price - Very light and comfortable, nice to hold
Cons
  • - Video/photo quality - Video / photo settings are not as many as I expected

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

It was not possible to achieve neither sharpness nor the absence of noise, even when shooting outdoors. There is no need to talk indoors. Video is underexposed. We have to hold out later in the editor. Everything is shot on automatic, if there were manual settings, it would be possible to correct the exposure. They write that the aperture is from 1.8, but it doesn’t look like it at all. It is completely unknown what is hidden under the presets of the shooting quality, you can find out only…

Pros
  • Good sound, easy, understandable, 50p.
Cons
  • Soaps and makes noise, even in street lighting.

I am happy with everything, the product matches the description.

Sharing my experience: - As a beginner, it was difficult for me to understand video recording formats. XAVC S HD - an attempt to get closer to higher resolution cameras, unreasonably consumes a lot of memory. If you want maximum clarity and quality, the best option is to select a frame rate of 50p (50 full frames per second), while the frame size and compression ratio are not selected - it is the only one. The remaining options to save space are 50i frame rate (that's 50 fields per second, that

Pros
  • I really liked the stabilizer. You can really take a non-twitching picture from your hands with a 30-fold approximation. Turns on by simply opening the screen. Good zoom, including its smoothness.
Cons
  • - Noticeable graininess when shooting indoors, even under normal lighting conditions. - No webcam mode. - No wifi
