I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

I took Sony XBA 300 (three rebar drivers) as a replacement - there were not enough bottoms and there was a bust with the tops. Source Astel and Kern Anorma SR25, balanced wire Japan for the top ten. I decided to upgrade to M7. I can’t say that it has become much better, the bottoms have increased, but on hybrid ears (from the same Sony), which cost three times cheaper, the bottoms are juicier and more interesting. Apparently, monitors are really for pros and work in the studio - there is no…

Pros
  • High sound detail, sits quite well in the ear (does not stick out like hybrid models)
Cons
  • The kit contains an unnecessary balance wire for Sony standard (without it, at least 6-7tyr, the price could be lowered) Price

I am well aware that good sound is in the ear of the beholder. With that in mind, I just connected the Sony IER-M9 to Sony, Cayin and Hiby players with a 4.4mm jack. They deliver as advertised. I listen to everything my FLAC files have to offer. Bass, mids and highs are all at a comfortable level. It comes in very handy after 2 hours of listening. I used the Comply Comfort Ts-200 tips for a great fit and fit. But they do come with a selection of different sized ear tips. I'm just a big fan of…

Pros
  • Optimized audio path for perfect frequency response
Cons
  • Something different

Originally thinking of upgrading from AKG K3003 bought IER-M9 but got a pair of them M7 inside. I tried it out overnight and found the bass to be really good for a pair of balanced armature headphones, so I ordered a new pair of M7s. (TL;DR at the end, when I finally got the M9, I found the M7 lackluster.) Without comparing the M7 to the M9, these are decent headphones for monitoring your own audio and listening to music from time to time , given its audio fidelity. Playback, but it has a…

Absolutely amazing, comparable to EX800ST and IER M9

Before I get started I should try to allay people's concerns about the price of the product and its legality: don't worry, because it is! The item is legal and genuine Sony IER M7. The reason they're so cheap is because they're not covered by Sony's warranty, they're covered by a seller. Okay, so in that sense, this is an incredible pair of IEMs. Everything about them is amazing! The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and left me in awe for a while (reminds me of a phone's packaging), the…

Balanced Armature Bass Kills Phenomenal Sound

Excellent tuning. In no way offensive. The bass is easy to dose and does not overwhelm the rest of the frequency range. The middle is just as attractive. Instruments/vocals are lush and smooth. The highs are very well done. Extended and detailed enough to detail things, but not so sharp that it produces sibilance. All in all, this is a well-done piece that's fun and interesting to listen to, while being detailed enough to show parts of the sound that you might have missed before. The packaging…

IER-M7 Excellent setup

I recently bought a Sony IER-M7 and they are now my favorite IEMs. For reference I also have MEE Pinnacle PX, Etymotic ER3SE, HD58x and Focal Elegia. This is my first review and I'm by no means a music lover so take everything with a grain of salt. My last purchase was Elegia lenses but I found them too bright and unnatural in tone. I wanted something I could listen to for a long time and decided IEMs are the best investment since I listen to music on the go and have noisy roommates at home…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
