Works great for me as I have limited space to install. My setup didn't have room for a PS3 and PS4 to sit horizontally, so I took a stand for both. I didn't have any issues with either the system or the stand so I was happy. When space is limited, this is a great solution and more stable than just standing alone. This likely adds half an inch to the height of the PS3 when standing upright, so you might want to double-check that gap. It's a little cheaper than I've seen elsewhere.

I have a vertical stand for all my Sony consoles except the PS1. This is firmly attached and looks like an upside down metal optical disc, which doesn't match the PS4 Super Slim aesthetic at all. But the base is wide enough for my cats to really have to try and tip it over, and the metal finish gives it a premium feel even if it doesn't quite fit the console. I preferred it to one of the third party coasters. saw, so I went with it.
