📀 Sony RDRVX515 DVD Recorder: Superior Recording Quality and Ease of Use Review

This product has the advantage that it makes a strange noise when dubbing into a VCR. This whole process is very slow but works well. After a few attempts to read the manual, the owner emailed me after I told him I was having trouble with the remote. In general this product is good.

I like the variety of DVD recording formats. For the most part, the device is very easy to program and use. The DVDs are absolutely beautiful; They are crisp and playable on any player that supports this format. On the other hand, VHS really stinks when recorded on another player/recorder and the ones recorded on this unit are of a much better quality. The Sony RDRVX515 DVD recorder has many nice features and would be worth the price if it worked as advertised. Unfortunately I kept it too long to get the DVD burner working and couldn't return it to Revain. Out of 12+ attempts to dub homemade VHS movies, only one DVD finished without errors, even though I tried DVDs from 3 different brands including Sony.
