The description reads in part: LONG BATTERY: The SP700N has up to 9 hours of playback battery life. It is not true. I charged them over 12 hours and they lasted less than 3 hours listening to Pandora. I really expected them to last at least full time. The sound is excellent. As long as you carry your phone with you, the sound quality is excellent. The noise cancellation works well and the ambient mode selection is good for listening outdoors (near the road). Bought these headphones to listen to music at the gym. I think they do it pretty well. Here are some of my first impressions. The active noise cancellation is not that good. With noise-cancelling on, I can say it's there and it helps block out ambient noise a bit, but it's nowhere near the level of good noise-cancelling found on the Bose QC20.
