Sony XB550AP On-Ear Headset/Headphones with Mic - Enhanced Bass, Blue Review

I bought this headset for my Playstation 4 and it exceeded all my expectations. I chose red and it goes perfectly with my red PS4 controller. The sound quality is excellent, as is the bass. And I don't mind using it for gaming for a long time. With the built-in microphone, you can chat with friends online. The 3.5mm audio jack allows for an easy plug-n-use setup. You don't have to charge anything or worry about the battery life of the headset.

My son loves it. I bought these for Christmas to replace my previous Beats headphones. He uses them with his Xbox One, his laptop and his cell phone. The material quality of the ears is much better than the Beats and they didn't start peeling like the Beats after a short period of use. The sound quality is perfect for it. I think they are a good investment and worth more than what I paid for. well done.

The description says that the built-in remote control has a microphone that allows you to switch tracks and answer calls, as well as change the volume. However, you cannot control the volume with the built-in remote control. There is no getting around this, including setting up a smart key app. This was ultimately disappointing because my main desire was to be able to control the volume in my next pair of headphones, even if they didn't have added bass. Fantastic sound, low noise and excellent sizing. Not intended for people who care about hair. My wife uses them and can't figure out how to avoid her hair getting caught in the metal band and inevitably pulling out a strand or two of hair every time she takes it off. Temporarily hanging them around her neck pulls out even more hair. If your hair is long enough for a ponytail, be sure to tie it up before using these headphones to avoid snagging on stray hairs.

I like the way they look. I'm someone who really loves bass. I use it to connect my LG V30. Headphones seem to lack bass. I can't expect too much to compare it to a beat ep. The sound is clear. However, there is a heavy bass in the sound, I don't feel the depth and warmth in the music. The difference between these headphones and the beat ep is that these headphones are more comfortable to wear than the beat ep.
