NOT waterproof or waterproof. Useless in the snow.

Very nice boots. My daughter used them (apparently) outdoors when snow sledding. These boots are not for playing in the snow, which we found. They are not waterproof or waterproof. Boots dried for 2-3 days. Very disappointing. We had to buy an extra pair of winter boots as they are practically useless in winter.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Passed the Wisconsin winter test!

Bought for my 8 year old who loves to ride outdoors! We live in Wisconsin where it's been COLD and these boots are really keeping him warm. sometimes, and since they're not that high, snow can go over the top. If you live anywhere in the snow you will understand what I am talking about. pretty heavy use. Easy for baby to put on and take off by themselves. They also look more stylish than most winter boots! More expensive than many shoes.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear

Turns out small due to the thick insole, but overall great!

I'm a big Sorel fan and have a few pairs left in size 5 (women's size 7). The Whitney II is noticeably snugger so I removed the insoles and they fit much better. They have also stretched a bit over time and I can now wear them with pads. They're still a little tight, but the thickness of the insoles makes the boots incredibly comfortable, almost like slippers. I would hesitate to use them in mud and mud because of the light color but they are perfect for the cold. temperatures and light…
