I bought these for my 10 year old son. He walks to and from school most of the day and they feel comfortable enough to do so and play. Several times he even forgot to put them on when he got to school. He says they're warm and snuggly and can splash around in mud and puddles. Sorels are my go-to for durable winter boots and the price is right.

My son (8 years old) tried on SEVERAL pairs of winter boots before I ordered them. They all bothered his legs. He LOVES these boots and wears them voluntarily. I like gags so he (or I) doesn't have to try to tie them with gloves or take his gloves off and freeze his hands. They are very similar to my Joan of the Arctic boots. They're warm, work in the snow, but don't look weird when we have to wear them.

I'm a grown woman who ordered these kids boots for myself, yes I'm the kind of person who wanted a good deal but I ended up returning them , since they are very uncomfortable gait. they are hard and loose at the same time.
