Very good wire for the price

Very close to real 4 AWG but for the price I have no complaints. Very flexible, easy to remove yet durable and works great. I hooked it up to a 400w Kenwood monoblock amp in my 15 F150 and it works great. I would definitely recommend it and would buy it again if I install it on a friend's computer.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Volume

Alternator wire is good for amp install

I used this on my 100 amp single wire alternator on my 73 Dodge D100. The original alternator was renewed many years ago and did not work very well. The 1 wire alternator I bought suggested using 4 ga wires for the battery and from the alternator housing to the frame. It turned out great. It's flexible and seems durable. It didn't melt or rub. Loading like never very satisfied.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Expensive

Very happy with this replacement

Very high quality! I had to order because my old power cord had a break and shorted to ground. Couldn't be happier with this replacement. More than enough length to drive the full length of my car plus 5 feet left. The insulation on the wire is thick and makes me less worried about opens/shorts! I will come back to this product in due course. Very satisfied and to be recommended!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Great price for a quality product

Very flexible but strong. I used it to provide battery power to the fuse box in the back of my car. It wasn't so massive that I would have trouble installing it alongside the existing rocker wiring. At the same time, it was stiff enough to slide through a precut firewall grommet and some rivet panel areas I didn't want to move. This means there is NO voltage drop at the rear of the vehicle. I put an 80 amp circuit breaker next to the battery and hooked up some heavy duty circuitry from the…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

maybe not a true 4 gauge but for what it is it works great.

Seems ok, flexible, outer shell/plastic coating is really thick but soft. It's not pure copper. It is made of CCA copper-plated aluminum and is therefore very light. It's fine for 4 gauge, but if you need to run 2 or 0 gauge you might want to stick with pure copper, and if I had to run this through my firewall I guess I'd need to reinforce that wire somehow. But for normal use, such as a junction box for an amplifier, it should be fine. Update: I've compared this to another 4 gauge audio cable…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
