Love the look and the fact that it's not a big chunky table but my husband didn't enjoy putting it together. One hole was in the wrong place and the other was ripped off and is now vacant but for the price I think it's good. You get what you pay for. I could go to a furniture store and put it all together and pay $500, so it was worth it for me. But don't ask my husband's opinion.

I agree with other reviews - this was the most difficult piece of furniture I have ever had to assemble! I'm 61 years old and I was doing everything by myself in tight spaces, my furry babies were crawling all over the place, but I needed a helper. As many have said this item looks a lot more expensive than the price would suggest. The woodwork and fittings are beautiful. There's enough room inside for a couple of blankets or pillows, and the hinge has a mechanism that keeps it from closing until you push it down, so don't worry about it slamming shut.
