Great shorts for the price!

I've looked everywhere to find the perfect pair of shorts for my son as he is quite picky about his shorts. They are long, comfortable and look great! Great shorts in every way.

Pros
  • It's very popular which is 10 if my grandson likes the garment!
Cons
  • Excellent stuff. Albeit a bit long. It falls below the knees, so walking in it is a bit uncomfortable.

Children's favorite - my new review

My son's favorite shorts! They're not hot, but they're not too skinny either. Comfortable elastic band at the waist. they are long They have pockets. I had to buy more than one because he wears them all the time. If your little one is small, they will look like a Capri.

Pros
  • My son liked them...
Cons
  • They are too long. They go below the knees.

Great shorts, they run big, I recommend going down a size.

I loved the shorts and so did my grandson but unfortunately this brand is not made like Nike or Under Armour, they are large. He usually wears a large 12/14, but they were a little large at the waist and 3.4 inches below the knee. I recommend 1 size smaller than what your child normally wears. Updated 09/28/19. I kept the shorts for myself and ordered a size smaller for my grandson (medium 10/12). They fit perfectly.

Pros
  • I liked these of the two short shorts I ordered. Fit as expected and hold up well when washed and dried.
Cons
  • Style Constraint: While the design of the shorts may be appropriate for basketball or other sports, their lack of versatility may not make them a practical choice for everyday wear.

Non-pulling thread, very long

They appear to be well made but don't have a drawstring so you can't tie them around your waist. I bought these for my son who is average height for his age and they covered the top of his socks they were so long.

Pros
  • They looked good but too small
Cons
  • I liked her but my grandson didn't. Not restricted for him.

Cheap is good for me

Save money for something better. Waste seams smooth out after 2 washes. The material is very thin and transparent. Garbage and waste of my money.

Pros
  • Good product
Cons
  • Too big for children. I'm 30, I can fit in there

COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT

I don't know what kind of 10-12 year old kid would want to wear basketball shorts that are so transparent you can see every detail of the underwear even if it's the same color! weird bad! You can see the label on the waist and you can also see the flesh color through the material. Completely translucent. Fit is an oversized basketball shoe. If it wasn't so transparent, we probably would have reduced the size. You can only wear them with sports leggings.

Pros
  • A bit big but still cool
Cons
  • Wrong size.

Who wears shorts? YOU will when you buy them.

They are enough to wear at home. They just make me look a little small in shorts. They think I'm showing my legs. Not for boys..

Pros
  • I liked these and passed
Cons
  • Not for boys.

The shorts were very big!

These shorts do not correspond to the table. I bought the size according to the chart and they were huge. Very inaccurate chart.

Pros
  • My nephew was so please. they fit just right
Cons
  • There was no drawstring at the waist

XL ordered my pros and cons

I ordered XL for my tall 11 year old. old. He is 5 feet 5 inches and 110 pounds. He has a 29 inch waist. Those shorts were too big for him. NO lace as stated in the description! As a result, they were also very large in the waist area. I would say these are men's shorts. Plus, they're well made and look really good (when they fit). In terms of thickness, they're okay. Some might think they are on the vision side but I thought they were ok.

Pros
  • Breathable and comfortable. my son loves this
Cons
  • These shorts are too long for boys. The waist is normal but the length is ridiculous

a little loose at the waist and long

Bought for my 10 year old son. In general he likes her. They are a bit big in the waist, he just needs to make sure he pulls his shorts up every now and then when he puts them on or they will eventually fall off. Another problem is that they are quite long. As another reviewer noted, it can be uncomfortable to enter. My son agrees and said that when he wore them to school recently when he walked he felt his knees were pulling his shorts down which meant they were already loose on him and he…

Pros
  • Quality is good for the price, fits my 8 year old well
Cons
  • I wear a medium size. I took a big one just in case and still hated it very much

Pleasant and beautiful colors

My grandson loves these. I plan to order more. They are long but sit perfectly at the waist. My grandson liked them for a long time, so we are happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Everything fits perfectly, will definitely order Southpole products again.
Cons
  • My teenage son is about 5ft 1 or 5ft 2 inches tall, these shorts came down to his knees.

Wrong size ordered - my new review

The shorts are very good but it would help if they had a size chart. My grandson is a size 8 and had to drop other size charts. I ordered a medium size 10-12 and they will float on it. I'm just saving them for next year!

Pros
  • Regular shorts for the price. good for running
Cons
  • transparent material

Good Not so good

My son loves these shorts. The only problem was the seam. I had to sew up the tear in the seam after just one wear. I think it has to do with the mesh but a bit more quality control would have helped. In their defense I also bought the same shorts in 2 different colors and had no problems. You might think twice before buying them if you're not good with a needle and thread for sewing minor repairs.

Pros
  • Side storage pockets
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Great shorts, they run big, I recommend going down a size.

I love the shorts and my grandson does too but unfortunately this brand is made differently than Nike or Under Armour, they run large. Pros
  • Lightweight mesh shorts
Cons
  • Doubtful

Wrong fit, wrong size

At first the size on the website was the size on the outer label (L 14-16) but the inner label sewn onto the back said "L 12". -14". Obviously a big difference. Second, the crotch is very oddly low, so the fit is very odd. When my son wears shorts just below his stomach, like he usually does, the crotch is so low that it's actually difficult to move and walk normally in them. When you lift the shorts to fix the crotch issue, they are no longer above the knee, but rather above the knee, with…

Pros
  • 100% polyester
Cons
  • boring packaging
