    The hat is too small, good for me

    My son was very pleased with the set when we received it. However, when he tried it on, the hat was too small. I ordered a Sixe 12/14 which was big for my 10 year old but I was worried it might shrink so I ordered a size up. But the size of the hat was for the baby. In short, the shirt is nice and fits true to size, but don't count on the hat to fit.

    • Very soft to the touch. He seemed tall, more like a teenage medium than a boy. The hat is his favorite part.

    • The ocean blue color may fade after washing and become dull and unattractive.

    My grandson loves the South Pole. Great product and perfect fit. The thermal shirt is also the perfect size. I would recommend! love it

    Too heavy - my new review

    Outwardly he is very rough. You need to wash before wearing. It didn't get that hard after washing, but still not very good quality.

    Great, my pros and cons

    I bought this for my son last Christmas when he was 11 years old. He liked both the shirt and the hat. The shirt is of good quality and can be gifted when he is done with it. The hat isn't very thick to withstand the crazy cold, but it's also good quality and cute.

    My son isn't exactly a fan of the South Pole, but he loves the subject. It's stylish, comfortable and feels like the high quality you'd expect from a brand. Love the versatility and color. It was a great purchase as a relief!

    Fairly warm clothes but runs small, not really for people over 185-195lbs, they were quite tight even during my diet and I've lost weight. Even then a lot of weight.

    Good but not perfect thick shirt

    I was hoping that this thermal shirt would be thicker, but it turned out to be paper thin. Four stars because it comes with a free cap. Ideal as a second layer but too thin to wear alone.

    Feels like plastic to me

    We bought one L and one XL, XL is smaller than L and both feel solid and like the stripes are painted on. I wouldn't buy this again.

    It was a gift for my grandson and the top recommendation he said was "I love it". I knew those were his colors, he was happy, I was happy and he was handsome.

    Thin fabric, cheaply made

    The stripes are not part of the fabric, they are printed and feel a little rough. The fabric is thin and probably won't last long. My son loves the shirt and it kept him warm enough without the jacket today (high 50/low 60) so I'm giving this shirt two stars instead of one.
