Simple, elementary, accurate.

Bought for my student who rented an apartment and was having questionable electrical problems. Peace of mind for both.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works but poor design

Being an electrician in 40 years I've seen better This one has low light and colors. It does the job, but there are better ones out there.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...

Does what it's supposed to do: Circuit tester

The color difference between yellow and red isn't that big. So watch carefully. It would be great if the lighting was LED instead of neon.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Empty

Is working. Easy to read

I have traveled from house to house to buy and it has been an invaluable tool in assessing the correctness of your wiring. It's cheap and my agent wants one too.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Works great and easy to use.

Plug it in and read the diagram on the device, it will help you decipher the position of the light and the patterns you see. It worked on all my 110 volt outlets.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Long Delivery

NO LED display but fully functional

I chose this product because the description said 'LED display type'. The product I received DOES NOT have LEDs for the display. It has NE2 bulbs which are typical of other models I've had. Fully functional but not as described.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Reliability

Good product with testers

Good product at this price. I bought it because one of the outlets in my bathroom stopped working. The voltage regulator said the hot wire was fine. But he couldn't tell if the neutral wire was okay. I bought this and found out I had an open neutral. I finally fixed it.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Super easy to use, seems to work.

I bought this to find out which outlets in our house are ungrounded (quite a lot unfortunately). And this product seems to be working properly again, unfortunately because. That means I have a lot of open areas in our house wiring. Our electrician came and checked it out. So this product is good. It's small, it can fit in your pocket. It doesn't require batteries and the like. It's good. Just plug in, read the lights. Did.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No breaker
