Bought these for my wife who needed new socks that were more comfortable and could cushion her shoes a bit so we chose these as they seemed quite thick and she loved the color They came we opened them up and tried them on - the photos can tell you the whole story, she loved them! Very soft, well made and seem to last quite a while. Worth the money I recommend!

I had to deduct a star because the socks are so tight. I'm very skinny so it's not a problem for me, but it might be for those over a hundred pounds because it can cut off circulation. These socks are thicker than most modern paper-thick socks, but that's not saying much. If they were thicker and not so tight, they would be perfect. After buying the perfect socks these days, I realized they no longer exist.

These socks are very comfortable and perfect for almost any weather. I wouldn't wear these on a hot July day in the Midwest, but they work well for the fall and winter we're going through this year. They appear to have been fine and very soft. Also, I have a hard time finding socks that don't make my feet sweat profusely. I didn't have that problem with them. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and only they came in black.

These are very good socks and I will definitely wear them. However when I ordered the navy blue ones I figured they would look like the photo: the standard navy blue. When they arrived I thought they accidentally sent me black socks. They look black with all my jeans (and I have very dark blue ones). It wasn't until I dragged them onto something black that I could tell they had a hint of navy blue. Apart from that they are fine. So order navy blue if you want bluish black socks.

Recommended only. Basically I love them. You have an ideal average weight. I think the review saying they were too tight was referring to the ribbing at the very top of the sock which is very tight - important as the top is mid-calf. However, I assume/hope they will stretch to the correct size after washing. I will update the information. Also, I don't understand the reviewer who said that these socks are not breathable because the sock has mesh in several places that lets a lot of air through.

To be honest I gave these socks 3 stars otherwise I would have given them less but I haven't been able to wear them long enough to know how good they are are waiting, so I couldn't rate them in that regard. I've had these socks for a few months now and they are holding up well except for one sock which has a small hole in it now. They are comfortable and supportive. My only complaint is that there are quite a few balls of lint in the toes that get under the toes. Every night I see lots of little black particles running down the shower drain and being washed off my toes. It also spills onto the floor when you take off your socks and walk around. I really like them. Not too heavy, not too thin. They have the traditional sporty "padding" but unlike other brands I own the pimply padding doesn't rub against my skin. I have big and wide feet and they fit perfectly. The seam doesn't chafe, which was a big issue for me (I have type 2 diabetes, and leg ulcers are dangerous).
