This is a bargain. It comes with 4 soapstone lengths - continuous. The collet holds the soapstone in place very well. Can be sharpened with a regular pencil sharpener. I use it to mark dark canvas fabrics. Works great!

Does the job, holds soapstone well, doesn't slip. You need to change the packaging, it's just not designed to protect extra soapstones and it came in a bag rather than a box.

Came intact gave it to my kid said it was cool and used a cheap pencil sharpener to put a nice tip on it soapy I think stone is the best for that best suited. Similar permanent lines and whiteboard markers for layout as they are erased instantly, after which you can do your lines with someone familiar.

I have bought many different soapstone holders but this is definitely one of my favorites. the soapstone is held with a very strong grip, doesn't move unless i really try to move it, and only because the soapstone itself is soft and the round soapstone is easy to sharpen with any everyday sharpener.
