As someone who learned Spanish in high school and still understands who is speaking to me better than speaking himself , I can easily pick up on pedagogical references in this book, but I understand that this is an introductory level for grades 6-8. To me introductory level means they know nothing about the language and you start from scratch and I didn't feel that was the case with this one, I'll actually be using Beginner now to start with my eighth grade.
