Description of SparkFun BME280 Atmospheric Sensor Breakout: Accurate Weather Measurement with Barometric Pressure, Humidity, and Temperature - Small Footprint, I2C & SPI Interface, 3.3V Operation

Temp Range: -40C to 85C - Humidity Range: 0 - 100% RH, =-3% from 20-80%. Pressure Range: 30,000Pa to 110,000Pa, relative accuracy of 12Pa, absolute accuracy of 100Pa. Altitude Range: 0 to 30,000 ft (9.2 km), relative accuracy of 3.3 ft (1 m) at sea level, 6.6 (2 m) at 30,000 ft. Selectable I2C addresses through a jumper on the back of the door. Pull-ups for both I2C and SPI. Solder your headers or connectors of choice to connect it to your microcontroller or project.

Expensive and inaccurate

This product is damn expensive and the height sensor is drifting. It says I'm -1,000 feet below sea level in a suburb of New York. If you are looking for precision, this is not the product.

Small but well-equipped

This sensor is suitable for developing a wide range of applications and reports three readings (temperature, altitude and barometric pressure) via the I2c or SPI protocol, which avoids, for example, calibration problems in use become , a thermistor for temperature measurement.

Great board, real sensor

I just wish it had a Qwiic connector but I think a later version of this board might come with it :) This board is definitely not as cheap as the "BME280" " for $5. The boards are available from China but they have a genuine Bosch sensor whereas many of the cheap ones have some sort of clone which may or may not be as accurate as the spec sheet says.

Excellent board, normal sensor

I just wish it had a Qwiic connector but I think a later version of this board might come with it :) This board is certainly not as cheap as the $5 BME280 boards you can buy in China, but it has a genuine Bosch sensor installed on it, while many cheap ones have some sort of clone that may or may not be as accurate as the spec sheet says.
